Torrini is a fashion jewelry company with its roots going back to the 14th century, when Jacopus Torrini moved to Florence from his native village Scarperia. Scarperia is an historical village in the Mugello area, renowned for the origins of the Medici family.
 Jacopus chose Florence for his citizenship and to open his workshop. The original document registering Jacopus Torrini's trademark reads: “Jacopus Turini de la Scharperia facit hoc signum”. It's the year 1369. The mark represents a half four-leaf clover and a spur.
It’s a trademark used for over six centuries during which it’s gathered respect and appreciation for the quality of its products. The four-leaf clover is the symbol of good luck for the new venture, while the spur reveals Jacopus' original profession as a forger of armor for the knights of the era.
