Guccio Gucci opened his first shop in Florence in 1921, with only a handful of items available. Of course, as people demanded, he started a process of expansion around Italy with the help of his two sons.

Tom Ford and Domenico De Sole deserve to be recognized as the ones who transformed Gucci into a fashion mammoth. They consolidated its worldwide presence and diversified the range of fashion items offered to their dedicated customers.
