Gabriela Ligenza is an Italian fashion designer that specializes in creating exquisite hats with and extraordinary combination of colors.
Working only with specially treated natural fibers, the combinations she uses make each of her hats a unique piece. She combines the classic, traditional style used in the past with modern elements to create truly works of arts.
Gabriela Ligenza also collaborates with other important fashion houses all over the world and it’s no wonder why each one makes its own entrance.
Gabriela Lingenza trained as an architect and interior designer. Combining her obsession with pure form and detail, and her interest in obscure and modern technologies, her work is truly contemporary.

Gabriela’s hats are hand-produced using entirely traditional techniques in Florence, Italy, in the atelier housed in a 15th century Medici tower. Stretched, hand pressed over wooden blocks and even dried, they take days to make, but have a lightness as if create out of sea foam.
As well as having designed for big fashion houses, she wholesales to more than 80 prestigious shops around the world, including Harrods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Fenwick in London.
In addition to the Gabriela Lingenza collection and in collaboration with her daughter Alicia, Gabriela has introduced a new younger line of hats called C’est Ala bank.
Gabriela Lingenza’s flagship store is in the exclusive area of Sloane Street in London (5 Ellis Street, London SW19AL), where she attracts a sophisticated clientele, including Elle Macpherson, Natasha Caine, Princess Caroline of Monaco and other members of Royal households. |
