Following the trend that was started a few years ago, Bulgari will open a new luxury hotel in London. The hotel will most likely be ready to receive its first guests in January, next year.
I will be built on the site of the former Normandie Hotel in Knightsbridge.
Bulgari is at its second venture in the hotel business, with the previous hotel in Milan proving to be an enormous success.
According to all the news we have, the hotel in London will have a similar style with the one in Milan and will be designed by the same architect, Antonio Citterio, together with the architects of David Walker.
The hotel will have 78 rooms and six apartments, filled with all the luxury you can desire. It will also have private holistic spa, a swimming pool and hydrotherapy steam rooms. I could get used to that 😀
There will also be a ballroom, a private members club, a business centre and a few meeting rooms. It wouldn’t be a hotel if it didn’t also have a restaurant, a lounge, a bar and a spirit room.
The manager will be Ritz-Carlton.
Because of the long history that Bulgari has with silversmith and jewelry, the precious metal will definitely be a central theme of the whole design.
Bulgari continues this trend of designer opening luxury hotels in prime locations all over the world. The most important are Versace, Ferragamo, Giorgio Armani, Moschino and Missoni. Bulgari is the first to open on in London.
